DThe White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention might not be long for this world now that President Donald Trump has returned to the Oval Office. That’s if the office’s website is any indication. Several outlets noted that the weblink for the office is now broken and has gone dark. “Former President Joe Biden’s Office of Gun Violence Prevention has been scrubbed from President Trump’s White House website,” noted Breitbart’s AWR Hawkins. The Reload’s Stephen Gutowski reported, “Shortly after his reelection in November, the National Shooting Sports Foundation called on Trump to dismantle the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention… Though he did not issue any public directive on the matter, the office’s website appears to have been taken offline shortly after his inauguration.” A formal announcement about the office’s fate could be coming imminently.
